Our school ethos is the foundation for all of our work. The ethos was created in consultation with all members of our community and it focuses on mutual respect and creating an environment where everyone can flourish. 

Our curriculum sits at the heart of what we do in and out of the classroom.  Our talented staff subject teams work hard to select the most pertinent and powerful knowledge for students to gain during their time with us, and they sequence that knowledge so that it builds in a meaningful way across the years and key stages. 

Outside of the classroom we are committed to affording all students opportunities to develop as individuals, as well as to make valuable contributions to the school and wider community.

We care about our young people as individuals and as such we have a strong pastoral structure in place.  The House system ensures students have access to a team of adults dedicated to their pastoral care and wellbeing, ensuring they are happy and fulfilled.
